When asked as a youth, "What do you want to be when you grow up..." I always had the same response - "Architecture".

Although, college took me in a different direction, I have always been into the arts. Whether it is playing musical instruments, designing surfboards, photography or Photoshop, I just love it all.

But ever since I was a boy, real estate has called me. The designs of every home, the layout of the floorplan... all call to me. So after many years in health care, I decided to follow this original calling and do what I love ... Real Estate Photography and Graphic Design.

So you may ask why would one hire a Real Estate Photographer?

And who hires them and for what purpose?

Well lucky for me, many different types of people desire to have their homes documented. Some, for insurance purposes, some for bragging rights, some are designers looking for photos of their art but most are Realtors who are eager to take their business to another level or just speed up the sale of the properties they list.

As a Realtor, whether you feel confident about your ability to take a great photo, you have probably asked yourself some of these questions when looking at your listing photos or scanning your local MLS... Why are my pictures so dark? How come my flash didn't help the photo? Why is the color so off?, How did that end up so crooked?, How come I can't get the whole room in the photo and how can I fix it?

To answer the first question...

A good Real Estate Photographer will have the knowledge and equipment for solving these problems.

It is said that a picture says a thousand words... Let them speak for you, and let them speak loudly...
